LOGOS (λόγος) /word, reason, discourse, law, knowledge, and logic/ Continues our initial group exhibition, ETHOS, building on the three Platonic definitions that our space considers the foundation of our language as a gallery. (Ethos, Logos, Pathos).
In this exhibition, Logos does not refer to literal language but to the subtle and sensible architecture of thought. Each work functions as a poetic statement where form ceases to be merely illustrative, subtly revealing analogies between two like-minded artists. Image, abstraction, geometry, sign, structure, color, and matter serve as tools to express a vision, a way of thinking, a related order, or a creative intuition that transcends its own space and interacts with its namesake, tracing logics that uncover invisible, interconnected structures.
Imagined as a series of dialogues between pairs of artists, where genealogies, visual languages, and modes of production converge, we aim to draw a constellation that projects visual thought as a field of resonance and expansion, encounters where origins, the narrative of the image, color, geometry, matter, and visual rhythm function as implicit forms of visual intelligence, revealing our rational and emotional approach as a gallery.
Reflecting on the commitment to the arts that our program promotes, we aim to transcend the grandiloquence of trends or mainstream commercialism, trying to reveal truths rather than just rhetorical mirages.
