Occupying a territory that transcends conventional categorizations of art and design, the works gathered in this exhibition are presented as artworks laden with meaning, in which materiality, form, gesture, process, and timelessness converge to generate narratives that evoke lasting emotional experiences.

The exhibition's title is a line from Robert Browning's poem "Andrea del Sarto" (1855): "Ah, but a man's reach must exceed his grasp, or what is heaven for?"

A profound reflection invites us to discover that the possible extends beyond our apparent and self-imposed limits: it is in the pursuit of the "impossible" that passion, courage, and the true meaning of life reside. The creative spirit of the artists in our exhibition is evident in each of their works, dissolving the boundaries between art and design in the search for what exceeds function and reaches the transcendent, dissolving the distance toward what was once seemingly unattainable.
