Samuel Sarmiento’s is part of the “Pioneering Ceramics” group exhibition at the Museum Prinsenhof Delft in the Netherlands. The exhibit is currently on view and will run until September 8, 2024.
“Pioneering Ceramics” places masterpieces from the museum’s collection side by side with the work of contemporary ceramists. An exciting dialogue and exceptional insights are the result. While the basic formula for ceramics has remained the same, the world to which makers respond has changed profoundly. The exhibition presents multiple points of view and narratives, inviting visitors to look at the past from a contemporary perspective.
