The Paiz Foundation's biennale, curated by Eugenio Viola, presents the preliminary list of participating artists for the 24th Paiz Art Biennial, entitled The World Tree. This edition will feature contemporary works and a wide range of new projects commissioned and conceived specifically for the Guatemalan biennial.
It will include artists of different generations, sexualities, and genders from the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, fostering empathy within the complex web of languages, religions, cultures, and diverse historical perspectives that shape our globalized society.
From November 6, 2025, to February 16, 2026, the Biennial will engage in critical dialogues with the history and physical characteristics of the sites and venues, proposing events and reflections that shape our lives.
