Within the framework of celebrating the 15 years of Visual Traffic, the curator and researcher Manuel Vásquez Ortega will lead a space for dialogue and shared reflections around one of the most developed – but also most current – themes in the history of Venezuelan art: landscape. In Open Conversation: Making Ruins, Landscapes, twenty artists will meet virtually to speak from their different places of enunciation about common themes in their production processes, in their research interests, and in their positions regarding contemporary making linked to a tradition that does not stop thinking about itself.
