“Laberinto” is a multisensory video-installation that combines different formats: video-performance, installation, moving image and sound. It invites the viewer to reflect on the dimension of violence embedded in our bodies. The work uses the gesture as a basis to explore how the traces of violence are inscribed in the psyche and in the affects, and the bodies that we are and how they respond to the foundations of our social scheme.
In this way, it is articulated through a montage of juxtaposed multi-screens, which closes temporality giving way to the freedom of narrative destiny, thus reformulating the video-installation as an alternative path that allows the construction of a terrain for empathy, where we can read precisely from the gesture, this fragmented and untold story.
