During her one-month stay, she lived at the top of Mount Gonare, isolated from all kinds of modern civilization and submerged in a completely natural, wooded environment, which preserves architectural and archaeological structures from the Nuragic communities of the Bronze Age ( 1800 BC). With the implementation of optical devices, Julia has dedicated herself to observing every aspect of the landscape through different lenses and exploring the interaction between light and natural and archeological habitats. She keeps a logbook where she takes note of the phases of movement, both of her body and the whole ecosystem, including the stars. Her artistic methodology allows her to develop multiple projects simultaneously without having a defined final result but giving priority to the process of each one.
