Ricardo Escobar (Manizales, 1990) is a Colombian artist and ceramicist based in Bogotá. His work explores the relationship between territory, memory, and craft, combining ancestral techniques with contemporary processes to create sculptures and objects that evoke the organic, the ritual, and the familiar. Trained as an artist at the Universidad de los Andes and as a ceramics technician in Faenza, Italy, he develops a body of work informed by traditional clays, collaborations with artisans, and ongoing research into materiality, tradition, and cultural landscape.
